Congratulations James on your recent sale. Rome wasn't built in a day and it will take time to build up a fan base in your little corner of the internet. But as the saying goes if you build it, they will come.

How fun was that! Yes, that human connection can make all the difference. The part about archaeology was interesting too. My daughter is an archeologist. I used her as a resource in my first novel where a young archeologist in grad school went on a dig in Mexico. It was fun doing the research. I imagine it was for you too when you wrote Stone and Water.

I looked at doing an archaeology degree at Lampeter University: now closed down. I did enjoy the research; heck, if you're not going to make any money, you'd better enjoy the process!
